3.    Use Right Sized Pipes

When you’re planning to get the most out of your mini-split heat system, use right-sized pipes. With right-sized pipes, you can increase efficiency, and you’ll have less noise.

 

Many homeowners don’t understand the importance of the right sized pipes. As a result, they install small-sized pipes in their heat pump. But when you have a small-sized pipe, it’ll reduce the efficiency of your heat pump. Besides, as I mentioned earlier that your heat pump HVAC system will make more noise.

 

That’s why it’s recommended that you install at least 15 feet pipe in your mini-split heat pump. This will increase the efficiency of your heat pump.
